The San Diego International Fringe Festival came. And now, it’s over. Over the course of the last few weeks, a myriad of moments unfolded, each carrying its own unique flavor and impact. Through ups and downs, twists and turns, I found myself immersed in a world of creativity and connection.
Every time I have this type of special encounter, I think of a Japanese phrase, “Ichi-go Ichi-e,” which means “for-this-time-only” or “once-in-a-lifetime.” Each meeting is special. Even if we see the same people at the same place in the future, we will never create the exact moment. That’s why the life is a beautiful tapestry woven with moments and we need to cherish every one of them.
To everyone who contributed to this remarkable chapter, whether as an audience member, a fellow artist, a cheerleader, or a part of the festival team, I extend my sincerest appreciation. Thank you for being a part of this journey, for your unwavering support, and for making the San Diego International Fringe Festival an unforgettable experience.
As we bid farewell to this chapter, I look forward to the next adventure that awaits. May our paths cross again, may our creative spirits continue to soar, and may the memories we’ve created at the festival continue to inspire and uplift us in the days to come.
